Dr. Carmen Ojeda is a foreign medical graduate and ECFMG accredited, she has a Clinical Research Master of Science Degree by New York University. Her passion for the world of Clinical Research led her to the creation of C.R.A. Clinical Research Rx. She has over 10 years of experience

conducting clinical trials and helping doctors develop research centers as well as helping them remain competitive and up to date with guidelines and regulations. She is currently enrolled to complete a PhD program in Applied Clinical Research and continues to enrich her research curriculum with industry accreditations and certifications yearly.

During her master’s degree, Carmen completed two years on all aspects of clinical research, Epidemiology giving her knowledge to conduct population feasibility , Evidence Based Health care, Fundamentals of Clinical trials , Biostatistics, Data Management, Bioethics and Scientific Writing which all combined allowed her to have a generalist experience for the field of research. She rotated through IRB meetings, shadowed FDA inspectors and Sponsor’s auditors giving her the unique skills to prepare any research site to be always audit and inspection ready. She has worked with multiple sites to ensure recruitment, retention, and completion of most study participants by training site’s staff on specific methods to achieve these goals. Her training is focused on helping every site staff member to understand the purpose of research at a site level, focusing on data collection integrity and safety of study participants. Her methods have shown efficacy over and over again by helping many sites accomplish rewards such as; Site number one in enrollment, Site number one in study Metrix, New England Journal of Medicine Publications and impressive financial rewards.

Dr. Carmen Ojeda currently writes clinical protocols for small pharmaceutical companies and investigator-initiated trials. She also develops all research site’s Standard Operating Procedures, data collection forms, staff training materials, continuing education for Principal Investigators, Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, and Regulatory Coordinators.

“This highly unusual combination of an M.S. degree in Clinical Research along with her M.D. degree provides her with a rare and very solid foundation to lead any clinical researcher to produce the best clinical data. In addition, Carmen is also a pleasure to work with, having the highest ethical values and an ‘ease’ with people, both faculty and her fellow students.”
